Yeah - it's pretty sad stuff.
I didn't catch the start of 60 mins, but they did run his story about mining in beaconsfield as a tribute to him.
Mark Ferguson brought the news live from the site and said that the journalist in Carleton would have wanted them to bring the story first, which was then followed by a lenghty tribute to him as the second news story.
It's made front page on the SMH and Tele today.
